Vandalism User is come back and jumbled my wiki

gaon12

Question

A few days ago, I asked a question under the title "How to limit the number of edits per user per day". (Link)

Only one vandalism document has been posted since the question was posted, and a third of the wiki documents have been compromised.

He used multiple IPs to edit. And then they destroyed the document, and then they moved it into a strange document.

I want to stop him. What should I do?

P.S. Using recaptcha seems useless.

Thanks for your recommend.

My wiki's goal is to allow everyone to participate.

Allowing only e-mail-certified users to participate, as your advice, can dramatically prevent vandalism, but it doesn't meet the goals of my site.

This is my idea, and the Vandalism user seems to be turning the macro program, except for the Recapcha subune.

I use AbuseFilter extension(https://m.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:AbuseFilter), That is working(Not 100%, but 7~80% working(I think)).

But AbuseFilter granmer is so hard.

Is there no other way (effective) than AbuseFilter Extension?

Thanks for write your idea for me.

Why useless? Because it appears that this is a real person? If so, how about only allowing edits by approved user accounts? Then you can approve/disapprove/disable whatever users you want.

I have almost solved this problem with abusefilter and periodic monitoring. Thank you for your reply.
