different display depending on the file I call

Hello!

I would like to create an extension that allows a different display depending on the file I call. To do this, I would like to overwrite calls to imagePage.php, among other things.

Example:
When I call up a PNG, the standard view should come up. But if I call up a DjVu, I would like to enable a zoom, for example. 

I have already created the function, but I just can't get it called by my MW 1.35.6.

Can you please help me?

# Check if the image is a DjVu file
if( $imagePage->displayImg->mime == 'image/vnd.djvu') {
	
}

The check does not work.
