introducing : Wikipedia.org on Nicer.App WebOS

the main feature of my opensourced NicerApp WebOS (20%-of-profits commercial usage fee) is that it allows for photo and video backgrounds, even at 4K and 8K resolutions.
and of course, it has a theme editor that allows one to tweak the look even further.

i had already made a nifty news app, at https://nicer.app/news,https://nicer.app/world-headlines and https://nicer.app/business, but in the past few days i've finally gotten round to another cool item on my https://nicer.app/todo list : a wikipedia.org viewport

see https://nicer.app/wiki/frontpage for a demo, which is likely to improve (in looks and functionality) over the coming days and weeks.

i'll charge no fees ever for the use of this viewport, and if and when i'll accept donations, 80% of those donations will go straight to wikipedia.org or wikimedia.

right now, one can't change the background on a wikipedia page at nicer.app

i'll look into that right after breakfast, coz that's not supposed to be like that at all.

i changed the license for NicerApp WebOS to MIT-licensed.
