But the full page name is not returned when the link is clicked. Instead it eliminates the first part of the URL, i.e. everything from .com and prior As a result, Google returns an error that it cannot translate the page... which is not surprising since the full link to the page is missing

Question
KaupnaKane
I am trying to get Google Translate to work within my mediawiki website.
I am using the following in square brackets in a template (the example below is for Spanish:
[https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=en&tl=es&hl=es&u={{canonicalurle:{{FULLPAGENAMEE}}}}&client=webapp {{#language:es}}]]
But the full page name is not returned when the link is clicked. Instead it eliminates the first part of the URL, i.e. everything from .com and prior As a result, Google returns an error that it cannot translate the page... which is not surprising since the full link to the page is missing
Any idea what I am missing?
Thank you!
