No password reset email not sent

Andrew Branscom

Question

WikiMedia version 1.41.1, no extensions enabled. http://sierrahelp.com/WikiNew/index.php/Main_Page

I got logged out of my Wiki, but it did not accept my login when I tried to get back in. I have tried to use the reset password, but the email is never sent. User name and pass I used are correct and no trace of it in the spam folder. It seems to think that my email was never verified for either my main account nor my WikiSysop  account I used to originally create the Wiki. I suppose the ideal would be to be able to resolve the email problem, but any way to regain access to either account would be welcomed.

I was using the confirmAccount extension and commented it out in the LocalSettings.php to create a new account, but it is only a regular account. If I cannot recover my main account and keep my edit histories, etc., but at this point I would settle for some way to set the new account as an admin.

The wiki is on a shared server and I have no server root access, just cPanel and FTP access. Is there some way to manually reset the pass without email? I have never used the maintenance PHP scripts and am not sure how or even if I have rights on my shared server.
