I can't reset my password because I'm in a blocked range IP.

I've created my Wikipedia account 10 years ago and now I want to log into my account. But, now I see an error telling me that I can't reset my password because I'm in a blocked range of IP. I didn't do anything wrong. Actually, I haven't made any changes or edits. So why should I be blocked from accessing my account? I can't even create a new account with my previous user name because it is taken! Would you please help me?

This forum is not for Wikipedia support, so we can't provide much help to you here. The easiest thing to do would be to try resetting your password while on a different IP (for example, if you got that message on your home wifi, try a cellular connection). Failing that, your best bet is to reach out to the Wikipedia admins for assistance; the block message should contain some instructions on how to do that.
