I have installed MediaWiki on a Synology 1515+ NAS drive. I have no issue reaching it while working from our internal network. However, I if I reach out to the drive from outside (i.e., working from home, etc.) I cannot access MediaWiki. I can get to the Synology with no trouble and access all of the other applications, but when try to open MediaWiki, a new tab opens and within a few seconds I receive an "Unable to connect" error. AS an admin I have permissions to the app so I know that is not the issue. I have tried this from several different systems, different connections, and even with different log ins that also have their permissions set to access the app. So far no luck.
